In 1974 Mike Leep Sr. partnered with Van Gurley to aquire Highland Dodge in Highland Indiana. In 1977 the moved to Lafayette St. in south Bend to open the Buick GMC store and sold the Dodge location. In 1984 the sold the store to purchase what is now on the corner of Grape and Douglas. Since they had been purchasing franchises in the mean time they were able to open GMC, Buick, Mercedes, Suzuki, and Subaru.In 1986 they purchased University Park Chryslar, Plymouth, Pontiac, and GMC.In 1991 they aquired Killilea Oldsmobile and Driesbach Olds Cadillac. 1992 they were awarded The Saturn franchise as well as the Dodge franchise from the Coral organization. 1996 they were offered Honda, Audi, VW, Porshe, and Mazda in Elkhart. Then also a Toyota Dealership in Highland were they originated from.1999 they purshased another Audi and VW franchise in Merriville along with Basney Ford in South Bend. In 2000 they purchased a chevy store in Valporaiso. 2002 they added a honda dealership in Lansing Michigan.
